Today we reviewed SAT vocabulary and discussed Myths and Truths of FCAT writing. Then we reviewed our essay prompt about future careers and discussed what it was asking. The students spent 20 minutes pre-planning for their essay which they will write tomorrow.

Today we learned about the Japenese internment during WWII. We read Farewell to Manzanar the memoir of a young lady who lived through it. Then we compred her memoir to Elie Weisel's memoir Night.

Today we were assigned to different classrooms; Ms. Corridon had to leave a little early. We were assigned chapters 7 & 8 to read and answer study guide questions in our novel If I Should Die Before I Wake.
